Wat Tha Ka Rong is originally two temples of their own (Wat Tha and Wat Ka Rong) and had merged together during the Ayutthaya period around 2106BE. This temple is easily everyone’s favorite for many reasons and there are so many wonderful things people always look forward to as a visitor. Firstly, is the woodcarving all around the temples which I personally like. Even the souvenirs you can buy are wood carved. Secondly, is the museum where there are many wax figurines of famous monks. Third, would be the family-oriented this place is. There’s a safer place for feeding the cat fishes at the river at the edge of the temple, a bird cage where there’s a lot of parrots to mimic whatever you say and if you ever feel tired and hungry there’s are plenty of food stalls ready to cook you up some local delights. Lastly, would be the collection of many ceremonial statues which most of them are already not available in the market. Even if there is, you can expect a hefty price to take it home.

Most of the things here are wood carved so for placing it at home, work place or just simply just collections for decoration purposes is also a good idea. Wood carved items are the specialty or an icon for this temple. The pair of birds as well. Especially good for building better relationship with others.
Wat Tha Ka Rong
Bought myself 2 very wonderfully wood carved statues from this temple.

Wat Tha Ka Rong
The trick is to stuck your coins in-between gaps to get your coins to stand. I see the visitors having fun. All trying to look for potential gaps and laughing out loud.
