Wat Bot in Pathum Thani a new temple has a significant sight to anyone. The excitement within you would rise the moment you see the magnificent statue from afar. This temple even though new, has gathered quite a number of visitors daily according to the helper in the temple. I can’t explain much except to show you some photographs of my recent visit there but honestly, you will have to be there to see the statues yourself. Because even looking at the pictures myself, the feeling I had when I first stand in front of the marvelous grand statue that day was completely different (Maybe in the picture the statue seemed smaller than in real life).

One day I’m sure the gold foil would covered more areas of the statues reflecting lights of gold.

Although Somdej Toh statue is placed in the center of the temple, the statue beside him can be seen across the river. I heard some visitors is going across for viewing. I wonder whats there.

See how the fan is not turned on? Because its really near the river and there’re no tall buildings nearby so its really windy anywhere around the temple.

Beginning to love the sight. Not just me, everyone just stand there in peace appreciating the beauty..

Picture time.. Well, from the shelter.

A lot of visitors during even weekdays and weather is really hot. Most of the visitors just stay under shelter to pray.

It looks shorter in picture I personally guarantee.

There is actually one more shelter within a temple where you can donate necessities for monks called the “sangkatang”. As usual there will be a counter where you can also buy some souvenirs and since they are still under renovations, the souvenirs available has variable selections.
